This here is my grown up version of a spicy mango on a stick. Except this time, jalapeño plays a big part in the flavor profile of this refreshing drink. Oh, and it contains tequila and it’s not sold by a vendor in the corner of my street. Ok, it’s not quite like a mango on a stick but I enjoy both with the same passion.
If you have a couple of ripe mangos in your fruit basket, give this delicious celebratory beverage a try. Omit the alcohol if you prefer for a cool, spicy, mango slurpee-esque drink.

- 2 mangos, peeled and cubed
- 2 jalapeños
- 1/3 cup triple sec
- 3/4 cup tequila
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 3 cups ice cubes
- Roughly chop 1 jalapeño and infuse in tequila for 30 minutes. Remove jalapeño pieces.
- In a blender, combine mango cubes, triple sec, lime juice, ice cubes and infused tequila. Blend until smooth.
- Rim 4 glasses with salt, sugar and chile powder and pour in mango mixture. Garnish with jalapeño rounds.
