Hi, I’m Ericka, creator and recipe developer of Nibbles and Feasts, a bilingual site created to share traditional Mexican family recipes and my own modern recipes with a Latin twist.
Born in Mexico, raised in Texas and living in Los Angeles for the past 13 years, I created this site in 2010 out of my love and passion for the various cuisines I’ve experienced throughout my travels and my life in California. Longing to revisit my time in the kitchen with my mother and grandmother, I left my marketing and social media career to focus my time in my small kitchen and proudly share those recipes with you.
Nibbles and Feasts has been recognized as one of Mom.me favorite 50 Mom Food Blogs of 2014, one of the 10 Best Food Blogs of 2013 by the Latin Kitchen, named a Babble.com Top 100 Food Blogs for 2012 and 2013and in 2012 and 2013 recognized as a LATISM Top 50 Latina blogger in the nation and invited to The White House and The United Nations.
I have been a regular contributor to The Latin Kitchen, Nestle Kitchens Blog, Disney’s Spoonful, Disney Family, Spanglish Baby, Meals.com and El Mejor Nido. I am currently a regular contributor to latinamom.me, General Mills’ Que Rica Vida and Comida Kraft.
