The chill is finally in the air and warm, comforting drinks warm up our bellies. It’s a holiday tradition in my home, like with most families, to celebrate with a hot beverage in hand what the season (and the winter) have to offer.

I love cuddling up by the Christmas tree with a good book and a piping cup of hot chocolate. But sometimes, honestly, there is no time to prepare a hot drink. Stirring by the stove until the chocolate tablets have dissolved takes time and patience. Not to mention a good attitude towards dishwashing when all I want to do is rest after a long day. Sometimes, I don’t have the time or patience required to enjoy a holiday drink made at home.

Cajeta Hot Chocolate
Serves 1

Ingredients:
1 cup International Delight Hot Chocolate
2 tablespoons International Delight creamer, hazelnut flavor
1 tablespoons cajeta (or dulce de leche)
?mini marshmallows for garnish

Method:
Heat ID hot chocolate in a microwave safe cup. Stir in creamer and cajeta. Garnish with marshmallows and enjoy!
