The months of October and November are very special for our family. We not only celebrate Halloween and Day of the Dead but we also celebrate our 5 year-old’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. Our days are busy with planning parties, dinners, setting up altars and getting costumes ready for trick-or-treating. My son’s birthday party is usually a costume party decorated with ghosts, witches and ghouls and special Halloween treats and desserts are served.
