Celebrate Halloween at Disney Parks

October 10, 2013

The Happiest Place on Earth just got spooky!  Don’t miss Mickey’s Halloween Party on selected dates from September 13 – October 31.  There will be villains, a Dia de Los Muertos skeleton display and yes, Mickey and his friends will be there too!

Don’t forget your scariest costume and check out the newest feature:  Monster’s U Dance Party!  Join Monster’s University’s most popular students, Mike and Sully at Tomorrowland Terrace and dance the night away as they celebrate the scariest time of the year with you and their frat brothers!

Day of deadBut wait! It’s not just fun and games!  Need a little more suspense in your Halloween?  Check out Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy in Tomorrowland.  As if Space Mountain wasn’t already scary enough, experience this space adventure with screaming sounds, spooky music and space ghosts coming at you.  Eek!

One of my favorites was the transformation of Main Street U.S.A.  with hundreds of pumpkin lining the storefronts with silly and cooky faces.  No two pumpkins are alike!

Speaking for transformations, Jack Skellington is back!  He takes over and transforms The Haunted Mansion in New Orleans Square into a Haunted Mansion Holiday extravaganza inspired by Tim Burton’s A Nighmare Before Christmas.   The lovely aroma from the ginger bread house overtakes the haunted ballroom with a few other spooky surprises.

This special separate ticket event will take place on the following dates:

Friday, September 27; Tuesday, October 1; Friday, October 4; Tuesday, October 8; Friday, October 11; Tuesday, October 15; Friday, October 18; Monday, October 21; Wednesday, October 23; Friday, October 25; Monday, October 28; Wednesday, October 30; and Thursday, October 31.

Tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party purchased in advance are $59 each for selected nights, while tickets purchased on the event days are $67 each.  All tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party on Wednesday, Oct. 30, and Halloween Night, Thursday, Oct. 31, are $74 each.

I was provided with park hopper Disney Park tickets to facilitate this post.  All opinions are my own.
